As described stunning spot, after much deliberation decided to stay the night along with about 10 other vans. A bit windy on top of cliff edge, but stayed one night no trouble.

Stunning spot, we arrived late afternoon and unfortunately asked to move on (half way through dinner). Officially day parking only but our neighbors had been there for 2 nights and been fine....

Lovely place to stopover, bbq on the beach, gorgeous view of the stars, sound of the sea to send you to sleep and a wonderful sunrise. You are likely to be moved on in season, less so out of season so it’s worth the chance. Lovely small village and fresh fish brought in at lunchtime for the bbq. Quiet night, no sign of rid raf, but take care as normal

A fabulous spot in a gorgeous little fishing village. Lovely coastal walks and stunning sunrises. Although sadly we had night-time visitors who tried twice to steal our bikes, unsuccessfully. A German was less fortunate. Police were called and a lot of police activity the next morning. Just the risk you take along this coastline unfortunately- wild camping makes us a target. Would still return as the spot is sensational.

This is not an "authorised" camper stop, but a beach car park which says that overnight stays are not permitted - as it is part of the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata. We did stay one night, but it is at your own risk of getting moved and we found out the following day after we left that all vans were asked to leave around 6pm. Most arrived at our next stop in the Municipal car park of San José. If you take the chance and get away with it, it is a beautiful spot to spend the night falling asleep to the sound of the waves, No facilities except bins.

Beautiful coastal site, but police are moving motorhomers into town from site, even though it's in the Camperstop book.
