Looking at the previous reviews appears site has had investment in last year. Loos and showers look brand new. Plenty of hot water and new lighting being installed which means not every pitch has electricity working but they tell yiu that when checking in. The bridge mentioned can be avoided by setting height paramaters in sat nav. We are 2.9 m high including the aircon and djnr think we would have got under it. Nice cycle ride into town but do listen the lady in reception's advice. Google maps is very confused round here. Main difference between site and site outside is no shade on the former. Looks as though if staying there one could use on site facilities.View all reviews by carolineess
Comfortable campsite in walking distance of Dijon (25 min). The site is currently undergoing a major upgrade with temporary toilet and shower blocks.View all reviews by purpledragon
Dijon is well worth visiting for the wonderful buildings.
As others have said, decent enough site with EHU, showers, wash block and a small cafe on site. French speaking but friendly owner. Decent sized pitches. Its a 20-30min walk to town’ dont know about buses as i chose to walk.View all reviews by outlawcatcher
WATCH: There is a 3m height limit bridge immediately outside.
Paid a great €8.50 for 1 motorhome, 1 adult & no electric.
Site OK nice location to walk into lyon along river staff friendly. However showers cold no hot water pizza can very expensive 25 euro for 2 pizza wouldn't have ordered if known price. The facilties are very dated and need money spent on them should have paid 5 euros less and stayed on car park at entrance to site as had to use own shower on van anyway. Not sure what the extra for site was for. We complained about no hot water were told they hasn't been any for days we defo would not have stayed if we're were told this when we booked on.View all reviews by clogie65
Surprisingly private considering its size and also being busy. Big, flat grassy pitches. Facilities were basic but clean. 16.50 Euros without EHU. 20 minute walk along the river into Dijon, which was nice ... the walk and Dijon. Lac Kir also worth a look. You can also order bread for next, which we did. Pizza van on site, which we didn’t use.View all reviews by smerrall
Stayed for one night on route to Calais and although it is still €16 per night the toilets were not clean. The site itself was quiet and we only heard the river which was lovely. The best thing about this site was the location as we cycled along the river to the town centre which was very pretty and lively.View all reviews by glennandhels
Great location for walking into Djion centre. just a 20-30 minute walk along the path by the riverbank. Good size pitches. Grass could do with cutting. clean and basic toilets and showers. Pizza van was setting up for the evening. we didn't sample but looked good. some road noise as would be expected with this sort of location. We would stay here again.View all reviews by cazbones
Visited right at end of season so quite quiet, we were the 11781st visitors to the site since it ooened in April! Multiply that by the pitch fees!View all reviews by mikeyj
Pitches are a very good size under shade in some areas but for some of them the EHU is some distance away, i had to join two leads together and they are reverse polarity.
Amenities clean but in need of upgrade, no toilet seats or toilet paper but the water is piping hot.
Great walk along river to city centre takes 45 mins but woth it for the impressive Cathedral and museum. Plenty restauraunts, bars and shops but we visited on a sunday so mostly closed.
Lake Kir is also worth a look at.
As previously said the aire is not much more than a car park and the campsite doesnt cost much more so we chose to stay at the campsite.View all reviews by tandy
There is a lovely park along one side that takes you almost all the way into the city centre.
Dijon was lovely and we enjoyed following the “owl trail” which was a great way to explore the city.
The Chemical WC is at the entrance (next to the aire) which is a long walk if you are camped at the fat end. They have introduced portacabin WC and showers at the far end to supplement the toilet block situated nearer the reception.
A word of warning if you are over 3m when coming in from the North the sat.nav. takes you under a 3m bridge next to the campsite.
Nice, mainly quiet site. For 16 or 17 euros you can get into the main site, as opposed to 11.70 for the aire at the front by a busy road. Sanitary facilities modern and clean. From the entrance you can follow a river path into town or go outwards towards a lake, which has paths around it and even a sandy beach.View all reviews by alexb64
Initially went here for the Aire but 12 euros for the night for nothing more than a small parking space we chose to go into the proper campsite and stayed two nights for not much more with EHU. Nice site, clean toilets/showers, right next to the river with a lovely walk up into the City centre (beautiful). Walk the opposite way on the riverbank took you to a lake. It was a very busy site and only just managed to squeeze us in, would recommend booking.View all reviews by babs
