Good location for those interested in lovely scenic walks and biking once away from busy B road which runs by the site. Good pubs in nearby Gretton. Winchcombe lovely to stroll around with good bakery shop. Close enough to NT property Snowshill (arrive by foot or bike and get a voucher for the cafe). Wardens on site very helpful, fairly level hardstandings site has pleasant open feel. Games/meeting room handy. Tewkesbury 20 mins drive away.View all reviews by fanjazz
A well laid out site with a mix of gravel and grass pitches. Our pitch at the rear of the site had uninterrupted countryside views. There is a small lake which is only open to campers but which costs an additional £7 per day. My husband did catch about 20 very small fish in one day and said he enjoyed the tranquility of the pegs but it’s not a well stocked lake.View all reviews by wendydarby
The shower block is accessed by a code and is clean and functional. There is a charge to use the hairdryer.
Beautiful well laid out site with staggered pitches to give lovely views of the lake from most pitches. No regimented row upon row. Immaculate facilities including community room with skittle alley, pool table, comfy leather sofas, TV, etc. Play area for children and dog walk. The Winchcombe Way runs through the middle of the site offering great walks. Very friendly wardens.View all reviews by nina0548
We have visited this site several times and have always received a great welcome. There are lovely walks nearby and the site is well placed for visiting the Steam Railway and the for touring The Cotswolds. The toilet and shower facilities are first class.View all reviews by jps44
