Stoped overnight on way south. Fantastic site. Superbly kept site with top notch facilities.View all reviews by dpaxton
Fantastic location on river bank with super walks along river and in large park that is over the river at entrance to site. Paths in park are tarmac so ideal for dog walking if path along river is too wet.
Walk along river to locks and pub for a pint. (Take path to left out of site along riverbank to get there. Its about 1 mile and well worth the walk.)
Great stopover heading south or north on A1. Well worth 10 stars!!
A popular C&CC club site just off the A1. As expected, friendly helpful staff with good clean facilities. The site is quiet and peaceful and there’s a one-way system that was explained to us. There’s several pubs and restaurants about a 10 minute walk into St Neots. Will definately use again.View all reviews by kenwal50
A C&CC site, upto their usual standard, with very helpful and friendly staff. Located alongside river, in parkland. Short walk into town, with a selection of pubs and eating places (plus shops, if you like that kind of thing). Buses to Cambridge. Plenty of cycling, either along the river (easy), or, across country (NCN12) to Grafham Water, not quite as easy (or smooth), but, good fun.View all reviews by kenreay
A lovely site on the banks of the Great Ouze. We got a riverside pitch and watched the Terns and Kingfishers from our van. There are great walks in both directions up and down the river. St Neots town is just 20 minutes walk with shops and eateries. In the other direction is is the weir and locks and the River Mill pub but when we ate the food did not live up to the hype.View all reviews by vanblanc
A great site. The site staff could not have been more helpful and were unfailingly cheerful. It has been a bit run down with some pitches in dire need of a tidy up but the completely new staff are working on it. Easy walk into town and plenty of dog walking by the river. Only downside is the flooding possibility as it gets soggy when wet. Will be backView all reviews by duxdeluxe
Over zealous warden spoiled our stay.View all reviews by darenbranch
We was down for 2 nights but left after 1
I won't go into details,I know rules are rules but it's how you apply them , and there lies the problem
Otherwise a great site
Delightful site we always want to return to when in the area or passing through. Spacious, level and well-maintained by friendly staff. Heated clean toilet/shower block. Sited next to the Great Ouse river, with riverside walk into St Neots (15-20 mins) for supermarkets, shops, restaurants, etc. Dog-friendly. Paid wifi but strong Vodafone 4G signal. Entrance can be blocked by queuing incoming units on a busy day. Take care when manoeuvring through the recommended access estate road when approaching the site.View all reviews by daburleigh
Excellent site, friendly wardens, good wi-fi and excellent TV reception. Very busy when we arrived, about 15 units in the queue for pitching up but dealt with in a friendly and efficient way. Lovely walk into St Neots town centre along the Great Ouse. Nice pub, the Bridge House, for a drink on the terrace over looking the river and park.View all reviews by chrisb
We stopped here for one night in October 2015. Very warm welcome. Good, clean facilities. One of the best things about the site is that it is right beside the Great Ouse and just outside the campsite there is a footbridge across the river the linear park that provides a very pleasant walk in to town.View all reviews by bertiebuggie
You are guaranteed a very warm welcome & all the staff are very accommodating. It gets very busy so it pays to book well in advance. The pitches are mixed with hard standing & grass pitches with EHU Wifi is available at a small fee.View all reviews by tallulah2015
I've been here twice once camping & once in my MH & have enjoyed both visits. There is a great pub just a short walk from the site which takes in the sights of the river (great with dogs). You are only a short walk from St Neots which offer a multitude of shops pubs restaurants.
If you prefer you can order takeaways & have it delivered to the site. The staff will let you know the best one's. They also have a chippy van visit throughout the season.
The only downside is sadly you have to go home at some point!! Excellent site!
