A large car park with plenty of space 1night €6 - 2=10 - 3=13 pay at machine. The town has plenty of shops and is littered with restaurants and bars, there are a few historic walks around the town with information boards with English translations.View all reviews by leeandcarol
Neuf-Brisach a historic citadel town is only 6km away and worth a visit.
Chem and water facilities on site, fresh water €1 for 5mins there are also plenty of public WCs around town.
Large carpark come stellplatze on the edge of Breisach and adjacent to the Rhine river. Plenty of space even for the largest of vans, there was even some caravans attached to their cars parked up for the night. The pitches at the front and side have grass adjacent so you can get the seats out and wind the awning out.View all reviews by admin
Breisach itself didn't have that much to offer, a few restuarants and bars and shops in the lower town, but the upper old town was disappointing with just the church of any interest and that was rebuilt in 1949. Managed to pick up our first bit of free wifi using our iBoost but unfortunately that was only for 10mins using the Campsite over the river free guest login. There is one service point which charges for fresh water, but waste disposal is free by lifting the large stainless drain cover which conceals a unique flushing system. Payment is by cash only at the machine at the entrance.
Plenty of cycle tracks leading from the town and there is a nice stretch going to Sassbach along the river.
