Nice location, site a little crowded but pitches by river ok (9mx9m). Cost an exrta 2€/night for riverside pitches. Shower block very clean, and owner speaks excellent english ( he is american). Cost in august was 25€/night for van and 2 people with ehu (+2€ for river pitch). Train track on opposite side of river with goods trains during the night. It may disturb you if you are a light sleeper. Cochem very touristy as river cruises stop here. Consequently prices for wine and beers are higher (+1 or 2€). Although a lot of tourists, the town is very picturesque with nice walking tours through the town ( visit tourist office in town centre for info).

I am sorry but despite the previous reviews I do not rate this place. We were stuffed in like sardines in an overcrowded site. The toilets and showers were adequate. There was no water top up or waste or toilet drainage on site, just a small station outside the site and you had to pay for water. It was not cheap at 25eu per night for two people and motorhome. Yes it was on Moselle and reasonable view, a 25 min walk into Cochem, nice town but very touristy. For an overnight stop you would be better off in the car park near to town. No services but free overnight. 12eu for parking during day.

This is a lovely campsite on the banks of the Mosel. We were lucky enough to get a spot right on the side of the river, although there was building work on the other bank which was a bit noisy. The facilities are clean and there is a bar, which I believe does food although we didn't partake. Situated just behind a public swimming pool, which is nice.Close to an Aldi & Rewe. Easy flat walk into Cochem itself, which is a lovely town to spend a few days in.

A pleasant site well situated on the river Mosel and a 30 min stroll into Cochem. Clean showers and toilets , We have a 7.5 mtr motor home which is about as big as you could comfortably get on site as the roads on the site are narrow , electricity costs you a one off payment to connect of €1.50, the river side pitches cost us €24,50 for two people and the motor home, or €23.00 for a non river side pitch. We walked into town past the railway station , which runs into Trier and Koblenz

Nice 2 day stop near the town and at the side of the river pitch. Quite expensive but no problem with the facility. Tight drive into the site and the service point is outside the site so could be used without stopping.
